Daggett is best known for her work in CURVE Magazine, the best-selling lesbian magazine in the world. For over a decade, Daggett wrote under the pen name "Lipstick" in the popular monthly column Lipstick & Dipstick.
As Lipstick—the sassy femme to Dipstick's pragmatic butch—she offered a measured blend of guidance, wit and sincerity, with sprinkles of humor.
A former debutante and sorority girl, Daggett drew from her well of life experience when channelling Lipstick.
Lipstick & Dipstick published their first book, The Essential Guide to Relationships, in 2007 with Alyson Books.
Over the years, Lipstick & Dipstick have spoken on university campuses across the United States, as well as at various corporate events. They have also been featured on numerous TV and radio shows.
In April 2016, Lipstick & Dipstick closed up their advice booth. Both women have moved on to other endeavors, having enjoyed their colorful and prolific 11-year run.
