Daggett's debut novel, Jukebox, is a heart-wrenching and ultimately uplifting adventure of two debutantes who fall in love. It’s an erotic, melodic, lushly-detailed coming of age story that erupts with passion.
Jukebox was the recipient of the Power Up Filmmaker Fund while a work in progress. In 2011, it was awarded the Alice B Committee Lavender Certificate for new writers and was a finalist for the Golden Crown Literary Society awards.
It is currently being adapted for the screen. For more on that project, visit jukeboxfilm.com
JUKEBOX
“Daggett’s debut novel weaves the lives of the main characters into a seamless and organic narrative of love—where passion, anger, denial, and acceptance flow as a quiet stream into a full blown river of emotions and understandings, both of the characters’ selves and their relation to each other.”
